GEUS Tasiilaq 2014 – setup of logistical platform Entry point: Kulusuk airport Base camp: Local settlement; e.g. Kuummiit or Tiniteqilaaq HUB for fieldwork, safety and coordination, servicing the field teams Facilities and accommodation for helicopter, provisions/equipment/gear and fuel 2-3 persons; safety and heli. coordinator, logistic person, cook, technician Transportation: ● Fully chartered-helicopter AirGreenland (B3 AS-350) ● Local speedboat ● Zodiacs Accommodation: ● Tent-camps in the field ● In basecamp Safety:All work has to be carried out accordingly to GEUS safety instructions

Total number of participants in the expedition The period the project takes part in the expedition The number of persons in the project Adjusted according to actually price/expenses Not included – travel, camp equipment, provisions, personally equipment – that the partners have to take care of themself (or rent from GEUS) Benefit… Cheaper basic cost for everybody Safe fieldwork with good and experienced backup Full serviced logistical platform Full chartered helicopter w. 1 or 2 pilots (24/7 flying) – cheaper price on flying hours Part of larger scientific expedition
