How do I organize my presentation? Introduction Introduction – Greeting – Grab audience attention, i.e. story, music, statistics, joke, question, etc. – Presentation outline Body Body – Transition with examples, facts, stories, quotes, visual aids, etc and Closing Conclusion Conclusion – Summarize main points – Recency (people remember the last thing they are told) – Can use techniques with video, funny story, etc. or simply recap main points in body

Rehearse…Practice makes perfect Rehearsal makes the difference between a good and average presentation Rehearsal makes the difference between a good and average presentation – Rehearse at least 3 times – Practice timing – Video tape if possible – Feedback from family, friends, etc. – Practice… practice… practice and more practice
