YOUR ITINERARY Continue along the south shore road to Myrdalssandur; a 700 km² area of sand flats created by a ‘jokulhlaup’ (glacial burst)
YOUR ITINERARY Your next stop is Eldhraun, an extensive moss- covered lava flow from the Laki eruption in 1783, believed to be the largest flow from a single eruption worldwide in historical times.

YOUR ITINERARY Visit the outlet glacier, Svinafellsjokull, to see evidence of the advance and retreat of a glacier tongue.

What happens next? £900 will be the maximum the school can charge It is not first come, first served but there is a maximum of 40 students we can cater for. OUTSTANDING BEHAVIOUR “As with any school trip, (but particularly this trip as it is overseas), parents and students should be aware that if a pupil’s behaviour or attendance become unacceptable prior to departure, then the school reserves the right to exclude them from the trip and this could jeopardise any refund of monies paid to that date minus the cost of a name change, which is set at the discretion of the travel company”.
