© we-do-IT TM The Problem The Water Corp manages the position of its assets (water, sewer, drainage and irrigation) in relation to property boundaries and road centrelines. Water Corp took regular updates of cadastre from the Department of Lands (Landgate) until Landgate have continually improved survey accuracy of all data within their database. As a consequence WaterCorp asset infrastructure data is now deemed to be positioned inaccurately.

© we-do-IT TM Delivery Area Approach Least disruption to business as usual Manageable size (average 120,000 data base points) Aligned to existing boundaries where possible

© we-do-IT TM Network Adjustment – 5 Steps Combination of adjustment and work management… New Landbase Acquired 1 - Identify Shift between Old and new Landbase 2 - Create Shift Vectors 3 - Define Project Area 4 - Generate Constraints 5 - Adjust Network QA/QC

© we-do-IT TM Outcomes & Future Assets now aligned with Landgate’s Cadastre, data is now geo-compatible for: – Internal & External Stakeholder Usage – Publishing to SLIP Ability to maintain ongoing geo-compatibility – Adjust.IT allows ongoing realignment as required to align with ongoing survey accuracy improvement Implementing a new Landbase solution to regularly accept Landgate authoritative cadastre updates
