Announcements: - Sign in Sheet -Outreach, If you didn’t do it today you are on your own. There are some odd jobs at Space Grant that you can do but they need to be done by May 2. See me if interested. -Status reports due last Friday -EOSS is here today! -Tax Day
Launch Day Guidelines: Launch is scheduled for if weather is bad, launch will be on if weather is bad, launch will be on Check my voice mail at after 9:00 PM on Friday for launch day status -Arrive at 7:00 AM on launch day but no earlier -Food will arrive at 8:00 AM. -Plan on not having access to your Cubesat after 8:00 AM
-Dress warm -If you plan on participating in the chase, please arrive fully fueled -Launch will be at 9:00 AM sharp -Chase should be over no later than 3:00 PM -We will be joined by ASEN Launch GO NO/GO Status reports due noon Friday Launch Day Guidelines:
Flight Profile for EOSS-40 LAUNCH TIME: 15:00 UTC - 09:00 MDT LAUNCH SITE: Windsor, Colorado, Gene Fatton’s Ranch DIRECTIONS: Leave Denver Colorado on I-25 north bound. Proceed to the Windsor exit (Exit Number 262). Proceed East on State Road 392 approximately 1.3 miles to county road 3. Take county road 3 south a few hundred yards. The launch site will be on the east side of the road. Numerous vehicles with antennae will undoubtedly mark the spot. Leave Denver Colorado on I-25 north bound. Proceed to the Windsor exit (Exit Number 262). Proceed East on State Road 392 approximately 1.3 miles to county road 3. Take county road 3 south a few hundred yards.
