Great Depression  After the great economic success of the twenties the United States began to have an economic decline.  Unequal income distribution.  Industries began to struggle, agriculture, railroads, textile mills, and mines.  High unemployment rate  Consumer debt from purchasing goods increased  Stock market crashes, stock speculation CAUSES OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION

 Today we are going to look at various charts and graphs on information during the Great Depression.  With your groups read and analyze the charts and complete the questions that follow.  Share responses with class for discussion. GREAT DEPRESSION
