Articles are evaluated by peer-reviewers or referees who are experts in the field; edited for content, format, and style. Nearly all the journals are specialized in certain subject areas. A plain format with less design in the content. Target audience is scholars, researchers and students. References are provided in the footnotes or at the end of an article. Examples: American Journal of Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology Popular Magazines Published frequently.
