 You have 5 minutes to finish your poem and illustrations  You are using the I Am format or three four line stanzas.  Detailed info about the experience of an Asian imigrant.

“I Am” Example I am the young son of a pilot who’s missing in action I wonder if he had time to bail out I hear my mother talking and crying on the phone I see the somber face uniformed visitor in the living room I am the son of a pilot who’s missing in action I pretend he’s home in the kitchen or in the yard I feel weak and alone I touch his shoes and his books on the self I worry that I’ll never know if he is dead or alive I cry when I realize that he won’t be home next week I am the young son of a pilot who’s missing in action I understand that he went to war I say he will come back I dream of his voice I try to imagine other pilots and soldiers in the jungle I hope they find my father I am the young son of a pilot who’s missing in action You must include specific details about the Asian immigrant experience.
