MY GLOBAL LEARNING WEEK AT NESTON HIGH SCHOOL BY JESS COBB

 Monday-English and Drama.  Tuesday-Science and DofE.  Wednesday-PE, Global Citizenship, Maths and Dance.  Thursday-Geography, MFL and Art.

MONDAY  On Monday the 8 th February, we were introduced to the school by Miss Lee in Summers Hall. After we were introduced to the school we had an English class 10:00-12:00 after English we had Drama 1:00-2:30. In English we learnt how to do the AFOREST which stands for : alliteration, facts, opinions, rhetorical question, emotive language, statistics and triple. In Drama we were split into two different sides one was traders and one was farmers and we had to act out a life of who we were. I was on the traders.

TUESDAY  On Tuesday we did science 9:00-12:00 and then we did DofE 1:00-2:30. In science we had Mr Burton who taught us how to get DNA from a kiwi. First we crush it and then we put it in a salt and soap solution. Then we put ethinal in it and took the DNA out of it. Then we changed the colours of the flames. After science we had hot chocolate.

WEDNESDAY  On Wednesday we did PE where we did standing long jump, speed bounce, 1 lap race and medicine ball throw. Then we did Global citizenship where we learnt about the world. After global citizenship we did Singapore maths were we had to work out how much money Snoopy and Charlie Brown would get. After Singapore maths we did two lessons of dance where we did street dance.

THURSDAY  On Thursday we did Geography, MFL and art. In Geography we got to make our own board game. My team decided to make a The game of life countries edition. In MFL we learnt which animals live in what countries and we learnt how to speak in German, Spanish and French. In Art we made tribe dolls. We used ink and cut out pieces. We made a tool which we dipped into the ink to put onto our work.

I Hope You Enjoyed my presentation.
