Electronic Administrative Function Requests NIH now accepts several new administrative function requests electronically –Administrative Supplement (Type 3) –Successor in Interest (Type 6) –Change of Institution (Type 7 Submissions must be made to active FOA –Parent Announcement page has general use FOAs ments.htmhttp://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/parent_announce ments.htm 9 Speak to awarding institute prior to submitting.

Looking Ahead: Commons Research Performance Progress Report –A federal mandate requiring the use of a federal-wide research performance progress report (RPPR) for submission of performance reporting on federally- funded research projects. –Will eventually replace eSNAP –Currently in pilot Financial Conflict of Interest –Updating current system to include new reporting requirements –Implementing in June Scarlett Gibb 19
