There are two common types of VPS  Managed VPS  unmanaged VPS.  In the managed VPS vender is responsible for all over the maintenance of server means there is no load on user for managing it’s technical issues.  In unmanaged VPS total control of server have in hand of user. Only for hardware issues are responsibility of vendor.

 All the maintenance and administrative duties which include server monitoring, management, and server repairs are handled personally by the server provider.  In managed VPS there is a guarantee of no downtime and technical assistance 24 * 7.  Managed VPS is a perfect solution for people who just want to get the improved performance and output from their VPS without being bothered about the technical maintenance.

The greatest advantage of using a managed hosting is it provides the convenience and flexibility. There will be no extra charges for these additional expert services as these are already included on its monthly package rate. Website owners can conveniently increase the storage resource capacity of the site by simply contacting the service provider. The major disadvantage of Managed VPS is the cost. Managed VPS are more expensive than unmanaged VPS.
