G5a Schematic to Pictorial

You will now draw the Pictorial by following the Schematic

The process will be to follow the schematic one wire at a time from one component to another component until you are finished.

The slides that follow will show the wire in RED on the schematic that is going to be wired on the pictorial. Then the pictorial slide will show that wire being ‘installed.’ This is the wire you are to place on your pictorial. Keep advancing through this slide presentation until you are finished with the pictorial.

G5a states that there is NO schematic. But in fact, there is. The schematic(s) you will use are the schematics you used on previous Schematic to Pictorials on pages G1, G2, and G15 for help.

You should observe the following on this schematic: 1.G5a is for the Line Voltage (power) circuit. 2.There is a two speed fan motor. 3.The fan relay (FR) has a switching action of SPDT.

You should observe the following on this schematic: 4.There CANNOT be a jumper on the FS and LS since the fan relay is SPDT. If you are unsure about this, watch A15 power point presentation again.

So continue now and wire the LINE VOLTAGE circuit.

Remember: B is for the black wire, which is HIGH speed.

Remember: you MUST come into the control to the ‘LINE’ terminal.

Remember: R is for the red wire, which is LOW speed.

Remember: R is for the red wire, which is LOW speed.

Remember: R is for the red wire, which is LOW speed.

Remember: R is for the red wire, which is LOW speed.

Remember: R is for the red wire, which is LOW speed.

You have completed the LINE VOLTAGE circuit.

The next slide shows your completed PICTORIAL and this is what you need to show your Instructor for credit.

Remember: R is for the red wire, which is LOW speed.
