Treasurer’s Report 2015 Investment Fund Balances General Fund $ 128,211 Endowment Fund 103,284 Grant Fund 74 Total 2015 Fund Balance $ 231, To date transfers from the General Fund to the Endowment Fund total $100, Our plan is to continue to award grants from the General Fund and, to that end, we moved $41,846 to the Grants Fund after the end of the year. 3. Over time, we plan to make additional transfers to the Endowment Fund. 4. We continue to review investment options offered by Gulf Coast and the returns that our funds are earning, and to balance returns and risks prudently. Treasurer’s Report 2015 Checking Account Activity Beginning Balance $ 3,749 Ending Balance 4,000 Increase (Decrease) for Period $ 251 Total Net Assets Beginning Balance $ 230,241 Ending Balance 235,569 Increase (Decrease) for Period $ 5, We also have a checking account from which we pay our ongoing expenses. 2. Fundraising proceeds are deposited to the checking account and prizes are paid from it, and excess funds are then transferred to the investment fund. 3. Treasurer’s Report 2015 Expenses Annual Membership Drive (mailings & postage) $ 407 Grants Luncheon Expenses 384 Website 135 Stationary and Office Supplies 259 Total Expenses$ 1,185 Expenses for the year were $1,185, with the bulk of it going for the annual membership drive and expenses associated with the annual Grants Luncheon.
