Where was it held? Vienna, Austria Who dominated it? Prince Metternich of Austria

What was Metternich’s goal? To return Europe back to the way it was before the French Revolution Disliked democracies and liked absolute monarchies

What are the new political philosophies at the Congress of Vienna? Liberal—supported liberty and democracy Conservative—supported monarchy and absolutism Radical—wants violent change Reactionary—wants things to return to the way it used to be
