Density Review and worksheet 8 th grade Science

 Today is the last day to PIP for the Unit 2 test. Make sure that you find a time to PIP today if you need to.  In Todays lesson we are going to finish the Lab from yesterday and then you will be completing a density worksheet in class.

Warm up 1.If you have an rock with a volume of 30cm³ and a mass of 60 grams, what is the density of this rock? 2.If this rock is put in water will it sink or float? ( Hint: The density of water is 1g/ml) 3.What is the mass of a 450cm³ block of silicon if the density of silicon is 2.336g/cm³. 4.if Wood floats on water then its density must be _______________ than the density of water. ( higher/ smaller)

Density Lab Please finish off the density Lab from yesterday.

Density Worksheet Please complete the density worksheet and we will go over the answers to the worksheet in class.
