This institution has been achieving a significant part of the educational and training activities in Kutina and wider region It was established on September the 5th In the school year of 2002./2003., new building for our school was built on this adress: Mate Lovraka 3, Kutina

Today we have 550 students in courses like: a)General high school b)Natural sciences-mathematics high school c)Secondary school of economics

The institution has employed 44 teachers and 11 staff members in other departments School has enrolled mostly excellent students Among all students, there is a percentage of students who are gifted, and whose talent was discovered in primary school Such students are sorted in elective courses, additional classes and extracurricular activities

Elective courses -optional -preparement fot the matura exam -students often pick subjects like maths, Croatian and English Additional classes -competitions in the Republic of Croatia are carried out at four levels: school, city, county and state level Extracurricular activities -charity group „Spajalica”, journalism, school choir, drama group, school sports society „Augustin”, student firms and debate club

- The school has developed successful cooperation with the immediate and wider community, such as: City of Kutina, sports and cultural societies, etc.

EVENTS DAYS FOR CHERISHING BREAD PRODUCTS - traditional event that takes place every year with an increasing number of stalls and visitors -all schools in Kutina are participating in this event -location : town square -firstly, priest blesses the bread, and then the event is opened by mayor

Visiting Oborovo (home for disabled people) -Tin Ujević high school traditionally takes part in this event with a noble intent -the money which is collected through voluntary contributions of visitors and the remaining food are given to humanitarian institution "St. Vincent de Paul "in Oborovo, which takes care for adults with physical or mental disabilities

Christmas pageant -it is held in school gym, few days before Christmas -the host takes us through the event, and a varied program consists of plays, recitals, singing, playing which are performed by the students of our school

Costume ball -cowboys, pirates, policemen, doctors, hippies and Hollywood stars - are just a few characters who walk through halls of our school -most cheerfull day in the year -At a break, students have the opportunity to dance to escort school DJs, thus fulfill school joy of costume ball

Most beautiful letter -Competition for the most beautiful letter happens on the World day of letters which is commemorated on May 11th each year -goal: to promote written communication, development of literacy, but also a revival of former beautiful habits which are used for writing letters

EUROSCOLA(a visit to European Parliament) -travelling to Strasbourg -regular annual program of the European Parliament through which students in higher grades of secondary schools in the Member States of European Union learn in a practical way about Europe

Valentine’s day in our school -our school symbolically celebrates Valentine’s day - through: collecting letters -dance ball is organised for the stundents of first classes -> goal: getting to know all students much better -quizzes (area of film, sports, general knowledge and music)

Mad day -seniors for the last farewell to the high school entertain and make the audience laugh with their interesting performance -each fourth grade dresses in different costumes and comes up with an interesting choreography by which they represent their class -a great program full of laughter, dancing, singing, and tears of joy

SUCCESSES AND COMPETITIONS -Students from our school have achieved remarkable results in various competitions from various fields, and in greater numbers each year -We can be proud of Sports Association Augustin -> competitions in sports such as handball, volleyball, athletics, table, tennis and cross

AUGUSTIN -school newspaper which is published every school year -we find the data about the most important events and projects related to our school and we write about them in our school paper „Augustin”
