Thursday 7 th January, 2016 Number 15 A great big thank you to all our parents and children for all the lovely cards and gifts so generously given to all the staff at Christmas time. They are very much appreciated. From all the staff at St Matthew’s School FOREST SCHOOL It’s reception children’s turn to do forest school this Friday, they will need old clothes, wellies and a warm coat. VISIT TO RHEGED All the children thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Rheged to watch Sea Rex in 3D. They learned a lot and are really motivated to study Dinosaurs this term. AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS Start on Monday 18 th January. On Monday’s there will be the usual film club and we are also introducing a Detective Club for Class 2 children, spaces are limited to 15, if your child would like to attend, they need to be committed to attend all 6 sessions, please complete the attached form and return to school. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To cover the cost of equipment, the detective club will cost £2 per week. Sphere club will be held on alternate Thursdays. £1 per session. DETECTIVE CLUB – CLASS 2 My Child/children……………………………………………………………………………………………… Would like to join the Detective club afterschool on Mondays. They agree to attending all 6 sessions at a cost of £2 each session.
