Moscow traffic jams: roads` quality or drivers` irresponsibility?

Traffic jams on Moscow roads became a subject of the intensive discussions and conversations today. Without them, unfortunately, we can’t imagine our life any more.

The aim of my research work is to develop effective methods which will allow to reduce the quantity of traffic jams and to unload the Moscow roads today.

It`s better to use the metro

At the weekends the movement is essential more briskly than on holidays. There are more traffic jams in winter than in summer.

The highway congestions during the week Monday is the easiest week-day in Moscow. Tuesday is one of the busiest days in Moscow. On Wednesday there are fewer cars than on Tuesday but more than on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday are the worst days for all drivers. On Thursday there are a lot of cars too. There are a lot of cars on Friday. On Saturday рeople go shopping to the shopping centres On Sunday you can find the traffic jams only near the shopping centres.

I think that the solution of this problem will be useful not only for the separate person but also for the whole national economy. Here are some ides which are capable to resolve this problem. It is also possible to develop the building of underground parking. It is necessary to develop the public transport system: to start up on line high-capacity busses.

In my practical part I suggest to create the posters to raise the culture of driving cars by our drivers. I think that this can become the small step in the revealing of such a great problem as “TRAFFIC JAMS”. The problem which we, modern generation, should solve in our nearest future.
