Transfer-in Credits originate from the Evaluations office. Students who submit Official transcripts from another college will have them evaluated for the Pierce College course equivalency for their math and/or English courses. This is so that the student can register online with their RAC for math and/or English without having the computer system block them from registering. This is not an indication that their entire transcript from another college has been evaluated. That process occurs separately, and at the student’s request via degree application (military base has different procedures for this, however).
Student Documents is where paperwork, such as transcripts from other institutions, unofficial evaluations, education plans created on paper worksheets, and so forth can be uploaded for future viewing. These documents are advisor-generated, including copies of transcripts that a student has shown an advisor.
