GENERAL EXPECTATIONS STUDENTS MUST BE RESPECTFUL TO TEACHERS AND PEERS WORK NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED ON TIME WORK SHOULD BE COMPLETED TO THE BEST OF A STUDENTS ABILITY AND AT A GRADE EIGHT LEVEL HOMEWORK SHOULD BE COMPLETED ON TIME STUDENTS WORK SHOULD BE SOMETHING THEY ARE PROUD TO SUBMIT STUDENTS SHOULD LISTEN AND NOT INTERRUPT INSTRUCTION, THERE WILL BE A QUESTION PERIOD TO FOLLOW ARRIVE TO CLASSES ON-TIME WITH APPROPRIATE MATERIALS GRADE 8 STUDENTS SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN BELONGINGS/WORK

MATH, FRENCH & SCIENCE EXPECTATIONS MENTAL MATH IS COMPLETED EACH MORNING HOMEWORK MUST BE COMPLETED TO ENSURE SUCCESS QUESTIONS NEED TO BE ASKED PROVINCIAL MATH ASSESSMENT IN JUNE SCIENCE FAIR HAPPENS IN MARCH AND IS COMPLETED INDEPENDENTLY AT HOME AND AT SCHOOL LABS ARE COMPLETED IN GROUPS, THEREFORE STUDENTS NEED TO WORK TOGETHER AND DO THEIR PART LARGER TESTS WILL BE GIVEN TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR EXAMS IN GRADE NINE FRENCH IS THE ONLY LANGUAGE SPOKEN IN FRENCH CLASS PARTICIPATION IS A MUST
