EXPECTATIONS Professionalism – expected here and in schools Participate in discussions, contribute class – we all learn from each other Attendance is mandatory Cooperator teacher report must indicate you’ve passed the field to pass this class

FEEDBACK AND MEETING EXPECTATIONS Unsatisfactory - means the assignment needs improvement and must be redone or improved to reach an acceptable standard. Fair - means this is a passing grade but there are some significant areas that should be addressed. Students have the option to resubmit and improve. Good - means you have met expectations. There may be a balance of areas that could still be improved and areas that are done well. Great - means you have met expectations and have shown some exceptional work in certain areas. Outstanding – means you have exceeded expectations and have shown consistent, exceptional work.

ASSIGNMENT #1 PORTFOLIO AND MINI UNIT To continue to reflect an holistic and complex understanding of our lives as teachers. Your teaching portfolio is a space to continue to build and share your insights in relation to each commonplace and their interactions. Include mini unit, class assignments/responses, reflections You will hand in your portfolio on Thursday, February 28 th with your unit plan.

ASSIGNMENT 2 – CHOICE ASSIGNMENT Create an assignment of your own in negotiation with me or choose an assignment from the “menu” provided. Choose something you will use. You may want to talk with your Co-op to use this in your three week block. Celebration of Learning: January 29 th Share ideas and give peer feedback, as well as mine

ASSIGNMENT 3 – REFLECTIONS 2-3 PAGES DUE: APRIL 2 ND Your final reflections will include: what you have learned about your learners, your teaching, your curriculum planning and the context in which you were teaching in your 3 week teaching block. You will also need to include your PDP (Professional Development Plan) for your internship which will emerge from the feedback you received from your PDP for this 3 week teaching block.
