How to Teach English in school Students may have different levels of ability in speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Students are active, talkative, clever but sometimes ego-centric. * How do we handle kids?

Student-centered class activities should be emphasized. The teaching aims should be more specific and detailed. Teacher should determine the minimum amount of skills the students should learn from each lesson.

Textbook should be considered the best teaching material. But(*^^*) Teacher should try to improve students’ abilities through task-based activities. Teacher should teach the four skills as well as cultures. Teacher should give students the opportunity to achieve success at their own level.

Establishing pre-activities, main activities, and post activities are very important before beginning each lesson. Teaching procedure: roll call/ review/ motivation/ presentation/ practice/ performance/ consolidation
