What is EERA JPNM? The European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) is an alliance of European public research centres and universities. It is one of the cornerstones of the European Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET-Plan). EERA brings together more than 160 research centres and universities. Actively working together on 17 joint research programmes, they build on national research initiatives. One of these joint research programs is JPNM – Joint Programme on Nuclear Materials Objectives of JPNM: Pursue better knowledge of materials behaviour in operation (GenIV) improve safety & sustainability of Nuclear Energy, focusing on materials aspects Develop innovative materials for industrial use with superior capabilities
