What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? By Malique Williams

Introduction From this AS Level Media course I have learnt a variety of things from how to use basic technology like software programmes like Microsoft Publisher but to use software such as Adobe In design. Not only that, this course has also taught me too learn how to use sites such as weebly and Prezi where you can put your presentation on the internet. Also, I have learnt how to use things such as cameras to an extensive point where I can take a photo then have the ability to use adobe photo-shop and edit the photo.

From The Beginning At the start of this course I was defiantly unaware of thing of things like Weebly so when we had the first preliminary task I was a bit nervous about is this course for me with all the type of technology that you have to use for the course. When I first made my practise front cover and contents page it was made on Microsoft Word this demonstrates the confidence that I did not have at the start of the course when in comparison to now. The following PowerPoint's will show the technology that I have learnt:

Microsoft Publisher I learnt from Microsoft publisher he following things: How to save work as an image To place pictures in and store them To use charts and compare them to others Overall as a software I was quite aware of Microsoft Publisher but there was a few things that I did not know to do which is what As Level media Studies had thought me.

Adobe Photo-Shop As part of the course I had to use a variety of software one which include Adobe Photoshop which is a programme I had never use before. What I Learnt About Adobe Photoshop? As part of the course I had to take photos in which I had to take them myself which then I had to go to Photoshop and edit them. The following things I learnt from Photoshop: - Change the colour of a object - How to correct exposure in camera raw - To use the magic tool so that it is only left with the image that you need. -How to change the colour of the background- I did this in my front cover where I changed the colour of the background in the picture to red so that it suited with the text. -Generate a decent drop Shadow

Photo Of Edited Image Using Photoshop

Overall On Adobe Photoshop Without Adobe Photoshop I wouldn't be able to: - Edit Photos - Try Out Different Approaches To Different Photo’s Would not of been able to create and edit the photos that I did create and turn them into how they look now!

Adobe In-Design For part of the course this piece of software was the most vital part as I had to create the magazine front page, contents page, and double page spread. What I learnt from Adobe In-Design? - How to Create a mast heading - Adding pictures by going on file place then insert the image that I have made on Photoshop and placing them in the frame or shape. -Edit Photos - To insert a image as a background

Overall On Adobe In-Design With out the privilege of using, Adobe In-design it would not of gave me the opportunity to make the magazine. Being able to use the photo-shop and in design together made it even more better as the edited photos made the magazine look better.

Digital Cameras For the media studies it was vital we used an digital camera so I was able to do the following: Take a photos and edited them using photo shop Upload photos to Photoshop for the magazine

Use Of Camera
