Science is a process, or method, that usually starts with an observation.

We then make inferences based on those observations.

An inference can become your hypothesis, or prediction, that you will test using scientific process.

Sometimes this is called the scientific method.

The scientific method is a process we use to test an inference. Remember, we call it a hypothesis now!!
