Cooperation between the Australian Federal Police and the Indonesian National Police was formalised in the Memorandum of Understanding on 5 August 1997, reaffirmed on 13 June 2002 and again on 6 February 2004 at the Bali Regional Ministerial Meeting on CT, co-hosted by the Australia Government and the Republic of Indonesia.
