Microphone storage Vestry: chancel side, middle cabinet Vocal Mics SM58/PG5 8/Teac Instrument mics – SM57 (in Audio Spectrum box)

Microphones SM58 for vocal PG58 for vocal (switched mic) SM57 for instruments Use PG58 if the board will be unattended

C2 – Piano or Guitar (DI box) C3 – Instrument/voice/piano C4 - Instrument/Voice C2 C3 C4 C3 has been put away incorrectly : please do NOT leave it like this.

Piano – SM57 on rubber headed boom: plug into C2 cord Put lid on short stick Place mic inside pointing towards center

Vocal Mic – SM58/C4 Set on carpet (reduce noise) Set forward so that you can see entire sanctuary – and they can see you. You will be slightly forward of piano/clavinova: adjust position as needed Run cord under piano

Vocal mic - positioning Point at lower lip About “4-fingers” away If using the PG58:turn switch on (towards singer) and off (away) as needed

Clavinova – Special cord XLR end into C1 jack under windows in choir ¼” end into Aux Out L/L-R AUX OUT

Loft: Sound Cabinet Key is on top, right, front corner- Stepstool is nearby… System toggle switch top left Press UP = power up Press DOWN = power off

SURE Wireless Microphones Lavaliere 1 Turn on, check/replace battery Signal strength/receiver Top Left Hand Held 1 (SM58 head) Turn on, check/replace battery Signal strength/receiver Lower Left Lav 2, Handheld 2 uses the right column

Mute what you don’t need: set mix to infinity (down all the way) Set podium & wireless mix to -5 to -10, adjust as needed do NOT go higher than Unity The piano and vocal mic gains are set set the mix as needed start with them even about -7m adjust up or down as needed There are tape labels to “name” the slides in use Use MUTE button, not the Rude/Solo button!!!
