The banquet was held on February 4 th at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Thank You for “Leading the Way !”

2015 VBS Clinic April 27 6:30 p.m. Cottage Hill Baptist Church Teaching That Changes Lives Transform… This special Sunday School Leadership event was held on August 16 at Government Street Baptist Church. There were 137 attendees at the event. The training was a combined effort of LifeWay Christian Resources, Government Street Baptist Church (GSBC), Alabama Baptist State Convention Sunday School & Discipleship Department and the Sunday School Ministry of the MBA. Our MBA Bible Drill & Speaker ‘s Tournament was held at Cottage Hill BC on April 10. After months of preparation and passing their church drill, they could participate in advanced drills. There were 41 participants: 24 Children, 7 High Schoolers, 8 Youth, and 2 Speakers in our MBA drills. Two of our drillers, Rebecca Smith* and Jordan Rossie*, tied for third Place in the state drills. Winter Girls Mission Camp Our WMU presented their “Girls Mission Camp “ at Camp Whispering Pines from June We rejoice that in the midst of all the fun, four girls made decisions for Christ. Girl’s On November 8 th and 9 th our WMU presented the annual Girl’s Winter Weekend. There were 52 girls, 10 youth, along with 33 counselors and workers at the event. Events ranged from Bible studies and worship, to outdoor activities like the zip-line, hiking, bounce house and more. Weekend The WMU Annual Celebration was held April 24 at Moffett Road Baptist Church. Over 100 ladies, representing over 20 MBA churches, were part of the event. The guest speaker was Lisa Hixon. She and her husband, Lee, served as IMB missionaries to Jibla, Yemen. WMU & Women’s Ministries Annual Celebration

On October 3-5, our DR Team and the ALSBOM DR Team, presented DR Chaplaincy Ministry training. Eighteen participated in the event hosted at Camp Whispering Pines. Challenger Outreach Ministry DISASTER RELIEF MINISTRY Challenger Basketball Ministry continues to help churches reach out to boys and families with the gospel. This year we had 20 teams, 29 coaches and 211 players in two leagues. Team members met weekly for Bible Study, missions and practice. FBC Tillman’s Corner won state Championship in Older, and Younger Challenger divisions. On July 24, State DR Director, Mel Johnson, led the “Introduction to DR Ministry” course. The twelve participants learned how they, and their churches, could be involved in this critical ministry. A general DR Meeting was held February 20. The meeting was for those interested in being a trained member to assist in our DR Center and general DR related ministry. Royal Ambassadors On February 22, our RA Racer Tournament was held at CWP. There were 25 racer participants from seven association churches

Senior Adult Ministries The 2013 Fall Fish Fry Fellowship was held at Camp Whispering Pines October 31. Over 150 Seniors from 25 MBA churches attended the event. Eight decisions and 17 prayer request were recorded. Praise the Lord! Our annual Friendship Luncheon was held March on 4 at Cottage Hill Baptist Church with 300+ in attendance. A special Thank You to our MBA Ministers of music for presenting the gospel message through music at the event. Fall Fish Fry Fellowship Our Student Ministry Team held an Area Youth Rally at Government Street Baptist Church. Over 100 youth and leaders from the 6 initiator churches attended. We are currently seeking “host churches” for these Sunday evening events. Call for additional informantion.
