Twitter was born. The people using twitter liked it but wished it could be easier to find old or similar tweets on specific topics. The people invented # Hash Tagging. When tweeting about a #TopicOfInterest, you include the hash tag in your tweet so others can find common tweets. #FollowFridays or #FF is a tag used by people to promote great people on twitter to follow. Yes, this is almost always done on Fridays. There is a # Hash day for each day of the week! ;) What’s Up With The # Hash Tag?

You copy and paste but add RT and symbol in front of the person’s name to make sure they get the credit for the tweet. Direct Message: On your profile, right hand side, you will see DM. This is where you can Direct Message someone in a private forum. *Be sure you are in DM when sending… looks like and feels like the twin brother – Message which is very public.
