3M FR-57 Gas Filter Cartridge

Fr-57 Filter Cartridge One piece of the PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) system Only compatible with 3M Breathe Easy 7 and 10 Systems Our region uses the Breathe Easy 10 system High efficiency particulate filter Must be new out of the package and NOT expired for use during activation

Used In Environments requiring respiratory protection from certain organic vapors, sulfur dioxide, chlorine, hydrogen, chloride, ammonia/methylamine, hydrogen fluoride, chlorine dioxide, formaldehyde, phosphine, chloroacetophenone (CN), o-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile (CA) and particulates according to NIOSH approvals, OSHA limitations, and 3M instructions

Not Used In Oxygen deficient atmospheres, Concentrations that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) Atmospheres that are unknown or when concentrations exceed specific OSHA standards or applicable government regulations, whichever is lower

Use Instructions Failure to follow instructions may result in sickness and or death Airborne contaminants include those that you may not be able to see or smell If you smell or taste contaminants or if dizziness, irritation, or other distress occurs leave the area immediately

Cartridge Limitations These cartridges do not supply oxygen, do not use in atmospheres containing less than 19.5 % oxygen Do not alter, abuse or miscue the cartridges and/or respirator

To operate Check package for expiration date Remove from package Remove screw cap and tab over inlet filter Screw one (1) filter into each of the three (3) slots on the PAPR Turbo Unit assembly Hand tighten cartridges completely so an airtight seal is achieved –do not over tighten as it can destroy the air inlet seals and threads
