Endoscopic Spine Surgery: Indications for endoscopic spine surgery. A patient with back pain and/or radicular pain who has failed conservative treatment Any herniation accessible endoscopically (directly proportional to experience) Advantages : Done under local anesthesia and sedation. No / One day hospital stay. Predictable relief of back and leg pain. No Blood loss. No risk of infection. No need of antibiotics. Cheaper Treatment

Back Pain: One of the most common cause of doctors visit Common Causes: Overuse, Over stress, Degeneration and Old Age Signs: Localized pain in Neck or back sometimes travelling to the legs Can be associated to numbness and weakness in Legs Tests: X ray and if required MRI Treament at Endospine Clinic: We specialize in non operative management of back pain with physio and myotherapy. Some patients with nerve root irritation may need epidural injections or nerve root block. Advanced nerve root compression may require surgery which can be microendoscopic discectomy.

Scoliosis: Any curvature of spine greater than 10 degrees is called scoliosis. It is mainly of 3 types: Congenital, Adolescent and Adult Scoliosis. Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis is most common. Treatment approach and endospine clinic: Curves less than 25 degrees can be managed only by observation. If the curve increases then we treat the kids with custom made braces till maturity. For scoliosis greater than 50 degree surgery is usually recommended. Surgical options vary for all age groups. At endospine clinic we offer minimally invasive treatment option for scoliosis surgery.

NECK PAIN May involve muscles, nerves, bones or disks between the bones. Can result from poor posture, twisting or turning, injuries such as whiplash, fractures and pinched nerve. Treatment depends on diagnosis Our Treatment Approach Our neck pain specialists use a variety of treatment options depending on your specific diagnosis. Generally, neck pain responds well to conservative care such as over-the-counter anti- inflammatory medications and pain relievers, prescription medications such as muscle relaxers, moist heat or ice packs, slow range-of-motion exercises, gently massaging the painful areas or temporary immobilization of the neck with a soft collar. If the pain is from nerve compression caused by herniated disks or bone spurs in the vertebrae of your neck, spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal) or a fracture, surgery may be the best course of treatment. Because our focus is on minimally invasive approaches, recovery times are generally quicker and patients often experience pain relief sooner rather than later.
