AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE We are using oil bath air filter in these tractors. These type of filter uses engine oil which is stored in a vessel called oil bowl. There is a mesh which is fitted in filter just above the oil bowl. Then replace the air filter mesh with new mesh. Fill the oil bowl with engine oil up to given level. Now assemble the whole air filter system. SWARAJ TRACTOR PUNJAB

BRAKE MAINTAINENCE SWARAJ TRACTOR PUNJAB We are using drum brakes in these tractors. Brakes are applied directly on transmission shaft which is coming from gear box. These brakes uses disc and brake pad for applying brakes. Remove the brake cover and dismantle the brake disc from brake housing. If needed then replace the brake pad otherwise solve the problem. Now assemble the disc in brake housing and mount brakes properly on shaft. Brake pedal free play must be 35-40mm. SWARAJ TRACTOR PUNJAB

GEAR BOX MAINTENENCE Gear slippage Loose gear on splines &Broken gear teeth. Noise in gears. Gear lever locking pin gets cut. Gear slippage Gears are tight on splines Problem in gear shifting SWARAJ TRACTOR PUNJAB

CLUTCH MAINTAINENCE Vibration in clutch Noise in clutch Slippage of clutch Worn clutch plate & Oil on clutch lining. Clutch pedal gets hard Clutch release bearing gets jam & Oil on clutch lining. DIFFERENTIAL MAINTAINENCE Noise in differential Wrong grade transmission oil. Wrong backlash in between pinion and crown wheel. Broken teeth of crown wheel and pinion. Wrong preload on pinion and crown wheel. Loose bull gear bolt. Worn teeth of bull gear and b.p shaft. Malfunctioning of b.p shaft and rear axle bearing. Bevel pinion gets seize. HYDRAULICS MAINTAINANCE Lift or hydraulic is not lifting load Air in suction line or loose hose pipe Lift or hydraulic is slowly lifting the load Hydraulic filter or suction strainer gets chock. Jerking of lift Sensor spring is not properly adjusted. SWARAJ TRACTOR PUNJAB
