INTERNET SAFETY How to Keep Yourself Safe Online

Introduction Let’s talk about the rules of the group... There are 5 classes Discussion based – participation is important! Session activities and quizzes The goal is to learn how to keep yourself safe online, while still having fun!

The Internet What types of devices do people usually use to get online? What do you use? Where are places people usually get online? Where do you get online?

The Internet What types of things do people use the Internet for? What are your favorite things to do online?

Internet Safety What is Internet safety? Why should it be important to you? Can you talk to someone if you feel scared or uncomfortable in an online situation?

Online Information Once something is posted online, is it possible to take it back? NO! Even if you delete it, it can stay on the Internet forever.
