Activity: Word Hunt Students watch the video once 2 nd Viewing give the students a ‘kind of word’ to look for Examples: -Verbs -All words with ‘ed’ endings -Proper names -Words with a certain sound (example, ‘t’ sound) -Conjunctions

A Milk Bottle A Tube A Van “Banshee” The zookeepers used a milk bottle to feed Farley by hand when he was young. Farley got sick, and he was given medicine and food in a tube. Farley was taken to his new home, the zoo, in a van. Farley needed to be around other red pandas. Banshee was his new playmate.
