Great sports coaches have also inspired their teams to go on to amazing wins.

In 2012, British Athletics Manager Paula Dunn helped ParalympicsGB win 11 gold medals in athletics at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. It’s good to have a challenge…

Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes might even get to see or read your speech! You really could inspire them to a great win!

You can either write a short speech to motivate the teams or make a video of you giving the speech.

How to write a good speech You need to think about what will inspire the athletes. Think what will motivate them. Ask them to think about the nation behind them, perhaps?

Speech-writing tips: 1.KISS – keep it short and simple! 2.Make three main points 3.Use metaphors and similes 4.Repetition can work 5.Be sincere 6.Mention what is at stake 7.Read it aloud

Making a speech If you are doing a video you need to deliver the speech with passion. It’s better to learn it than read it off a page. Think about the key words and phrases. Use your hands. Believe in what you say. Go for it!

Good luck!
