Getting Moldy Smell Out of Clothes Just A Few Tips

Prevent Mold Prevent Mold in the First Place: Keep the humidity level in your home between 40% and 60%. Use an air conditioner or a dehumidifier during humid months Make sure your clothes dryer vents outside your home. Fix any leaks in your home’s roof, walls, or plumbing so mold does not have a moisture source to grow. Clean bathrooms and other damp areas with mold-prevention products like Ultra 7.Ultra 7

Clean Mold Out of Clothing FOR LAUNDRY: Add 1 cup, or 8 oz. of Ultra 7 to rinse cycle. (Do NOT add detergent.) Dry in appropriate drying cycle as directed on clothing label. Reapply every 20 washes. Spray: Clean items prior to application. Shake well. Using trigger pump sprayer or pressure sprayer, spray entire surface area 4 to 6 inches from the surface making sure the surface is completely covered. Let stand until dry or dry under the appropriate heat setting for the fabrics being treated. If spotting occurs, wipe with moist cloth or sponge. Test for staining and color-fastness of fabric by treating and drying a small concealed area prior to application.
