Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS)  Student must pass assessment to enter ninth grade  Students, on prior assessments, scored poorly in Mathematics

DimensionM/Tabula Digital  Educational video games.  Games challenge and test the students’ abilities in mathematics.  Teaches students in ways they want to learn  Video game software followed state and federal testing standards.

Research Results  Students felt the games helped them to improve their mathematics skills.  Students became interested in learning mathematics again.
