true potential The CMI Assignments For all the CMI qualifications you need to write an assignment of between 2500 and 3000 words Each assignment is split into three or four Learning Outcomes Each Learning Outcome is split into a number of Assessment Criteria

true potential The CMI Assignments What you write in your assignment needs to demonstrate your understanding of each Criteria covered in the Learning Outcomes and how you have used this knowledge in the workplace In the individual assignment documents you will find more information about what you need to do to successfully complete you assignment

true potential The CMI Assignments A successful assignment needs to include:- A Reflective Contextual Statement that includes:- Your current job role Your drivers for undertaking the assignment The value and knowledge you have gained from undertaking the assignment References must be included to cover the specific materials you used to write your assignment and indicate the extent of your research e.g. books, models & theories

true potential Passed or Referred When you submit your assignment it will be assessed and it will either be declared a pass or referred If your assignment is “referred” it will be returned to you and you will be given feedback that will help you amend your work to enable it to pass If your assignment is “passed” Emerge send it to the CMI for verification. Once verified the CMI will issue your certificate

true potential The Qualifications If you complete a single Unit you will be entitled to receive an CMI Award If you complete specific combinations of Units you will be entitled to receive a CMI Certificate The combination of units is explained in the following pages There is no difference in the level of the qualification you receive. The only difference is that a Certificate recognises that you have completed more than one unit and have achieved a specific number of credits
