Chocolate is called the hormone of joy

“Cupid” in Latin means “desire”

Love is blind According to recent research, when people are in love, the areas of brain that control critical thought are suppressed.

Love means fidelity

Robert Burns is the Scottish national pride and a world famous poet

My heart's in the Highlands My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here, My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer; Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe, My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go. Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North, The birth-place of Valour, the country of Worth ; Wherever I wander, wherever I rove, The hills of the Highlands forever I love. Farewell to the mountains, high-cover'd with snow, Farewell to the straths and green vallies below; Farewell to the forests and wild-hanging woods, Farewell to the torrents and loud-pouring floods. My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here, My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer; Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe, My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.

A red rose Oh my luve’s like a red,red rose That's newly sprung in June. O my luve's like the melody That's sweetly play'd in tune. As fair art thou, my bonnie lass, So deep in luve am I; And I will luve thee still, my dear, Till a' the seas gang dry. Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear, And the rocks melt wi' the sun; I will luve thee still, my dear, While the sands o' life shall run. And fare thee weel, my only Luve! And fare thee weel awhile! And I will come again, my Luve, Tho' it were ten thousand mile.

Song O whistle, and I’ll come to ye, my lad Tho’ father and mother, and a’should gae mad; Thy Jeanie will venture wi’ye, my lad. But warily tent, when ye come to court me, And come nae unless the back-yett be a-jee; Syne up the back-style and let naebody see; And come as ye were na comin to me. At kirk, or a market whene’er ye meet me, Gand by me as mo’ that ye car’d bae a flie; But still me a blink o’your bonie black e’e, Jet look as ye were na looking at me Ay vow and protest that ye care na for me, And whyles ye may lightly my beauty a wee; But court nae anither, tho’ jokin ye be, For fear that she wyle your fancy frae-me.

Comin’ thro’ the rye Oh Jenny’s a’weet, poor body; Jenny’s seldom dry; She draigl’t a’her petticoatie, Comin’ thro’ the rye. Comin’ thro’ the rye, poor body, Comin’ thro’ the rye. She draigl’t a’her petticoatie, Comin’ thro’ the rye. Gin a body meet a body Comin’ thro’ the rye. Gin a body kiss a body, Need a body cry? Gin a body meet a body Comin’ thro’ the gien. Gin a body kiss a body, Need the warld ken?

-Wha is that at my bower-door? -O wha is it but Findlay! -Then gae your gate,ye’se nae be here. - Indeed maun I, quo’ Findlay. -What mak’ ye, sae like a thief? -O come and see, quo’ Findlay. -Before the morn ye’ll work mischief. -Indeed will I, quo’ Findlay. -Gif I rise and let you in. -Let me in,quo’ Findlay. -You’ll keep me waukin wi’ your din. -Indeed will I,quo’ Findlay. -In my bower if ye should stay. -Let me stay, quo’ Findlay. -I fear ye’ll bide break o’day. -Indeed will I, quo Findlay. -Here this night if ye remain. -I’ll remain, quo Findlay. -I dread ye’ll learn the gate again. -Indeed will I, quo Findlay. -What may pass within this bower. -Let it pass, quo Findlay. -Ye maun conceal till your last hour. -Indeed will I, quo Findlay.
