The Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages Stonehenge And Hengistbury Head By Archie

Stonehenge It was built as a temple to the sun. It took a very long time to build it.

Stonehenge The bluestones came from Wales. The sarsens (big stones) are from the Marlborough Downs.

Stonehenge The people who built it lived in huts close by.

Stonehenge(stone attack) This is why horrible histories call it savage stone age!

Hengistbury Head It is a special hill. People have lived there since BC. They hunted deer.

Hengistbury head In the Bronze Age people buried their dead here.

Hengistbury Head In the Iron age lots of people lived there because there was lots of iron.

Hengistbury Head Iron age people were strong because they had iron. They wanted to protect the iron with wood as defence.

Why we love the Stone Age!!
