He currently resides in Farmington Hills, MI with his wife and son. 5-hour Energy once was accused of being the cause of five deaths, but those claims were never substantiated.  Formative Years  Born in Lucknow, India in  Family moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1967 at age 14.  Considered to be a math wiz at a young age.  Entered college at Princeton University, but dropped out his freshman year.

 Finding Clarity  Returned to India after dropping out of Princeton University.  Embarked on a 12-year spiritual quest as a monk in India.
