GOAL TWO: Ensuring all Educare household members are connected to the affordable private or public healthcare coverage option they qualify for and providing affordable primary care assistance to Educare’s uninsurable (EHF). 97%

EDUCARE HEALTHY FAMILIES (EHF): Basic primary care coverage for Educare’s uninsurable Medical home options include OU Family Medicine; Morton, CHC (FQHCs) Includes medical, dental, optometry, and pharmacy Affordable co-pays Focus on prevention

Increased healthy behaviors vs change in BMI, BP, A1c Summer 2016 evaluation by OSU COM comparing Tulsa Educare families to control group of OKC Educare families

EFHP CONCLUSION Creating a culture of health among Educare families and staff can lead to improved educational and health outcomes for early childhood students Evaluation will help us figure out which interventions have the biggest impact and should be replicated at other early childhood education programs
