CT1 NACLIM Meeting April 2013, Hamburg The data policy (deliverable 6.5) described: how we want to guarantee the data exchange between the individual NACLIM groups and between NACLIM and other projects or individuals what kind of access to the data we give to projects and individuals outside NACLIM With the delivery end of January 2013 to the commission we provide a general policy document meeting the basic requirements. Now every CT has to specify how CT data will be handled and made available. This specific CT policies will become annexes to the deliverable 6.5 and shall be available latest by begin. Oct 2013 to the EC.

CT1 NACLIM Meeting April 2013, Hamburg CT2 Example: Guidelines for using NACLIM data for publications NACLIM partners grant access to data, but do not transfer ownership of foreground. The ownership stays with the NACLIM consortium. Those demanding access to data products and sets for dissemination/publication purposes will have to follow some guidelines, available on the NACLIM website, related to: 1. Instructions for acknowledging the use of NACLIM data products and data sets correctly, including mandatory reference to the NACLIM scientists, the NACLIM project, the European Commission and the Framework Programme Information about the scientist(s) to be contacted, prior to using NACLIM data, for checking if updates of the data are available. 3. Notification to be sent to the NACLIM data manager AND the person in charge of the data when a publication including/referring to NACLIM data is submitted.
