Presentation transcript:

Monday: Start the week off with the boost of energy! I thought it would be fun to have the kids send in an energy drink or water and a fresh piece of fruit or two. She can then munch on these all week as she likes! WE will provide a bowl for her to put her fruit in. Tuesday: Shower her with flowers---send in something to do with flowers like a small bouquet, a small potted plant, cut flowers from your garden, flower smelling lotion or bath products, candles, room fresheners…. Wednesday: Treat Day---send in muffins, coffee cake, cookies, candy bars, chocolate or any type of treats that she could have throughout the day or could be saved for another day that week. You could also send in flavored water, vitamin water or just a bottle of water to go along with the treat. Thursday: PTA is providing lunch for her this day, but I thought it would be fun for her to have a week worth of lunches on us!! Send in $5. (or more if you’d like!) gift cards to places to grab a quick lunch like McDonald’s,Cousins, B52’s, Subway or Panera to name a few. Friday: Poetry/letter day --each child writes a poem, letter or thank you and draw a picture of Mrs. _________. It would be a great way for the kids to show their appreciation of her. Please do this on the enclosed 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (like computer paper) and I will provide a small binder with clear protective sheets for her to add the notes in—Pleaes include this in the envelope provided along with $ if you’d like to chip in for the group gift ***Teacher Appreciation WEEK May 5-9th *** Hi Families of Mrs. ________________! Teacher Appreciation Week is next week. We’d like to assign each family to one day next week (see chart below) and have you send in a little something special for Mrs./Mr. ______________ on that day. It doesn’t have to be anything big…it could be something as easy as a cut flower to give to her or a chocolate candy bar. Make it what you’d like!! We would also like to collect money from everyone to put towards a group gift for her. We have some ideas—but if you know anything she loves, please let us know!! If you would like to contribute to that gift, please send in $3-$5. in an envelope and give it to _(Your Child’s name)_ and we will take care of purchasing the gift for her. We are really hoping to give Mrs. ____________ the BEST Teacher Appreciation Week ever!!! If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know. We would be So happy to have any other ideas!!!
