Swedish Skills Test (= lähtötasotesti) If you have 1. a degree from the Finnish comprehensive school (=peruskoulupohja) 2. not taken Swedish in the matriculation exam (= ei ruotsia YO-tutkinnossa) 3. the grade i, a or b in Swedish in the matriculation exam → you will need to take the skills test. Recognition of Prior Learning = AHOT (aikaisemmin hankitun osaamisen tunnistaminen ja tunnustaminen) Compulsory language studies can be credited for through prior language studies on university level RPL = Recognition of Prior Learning is a way to get courses credited even without official language studies.
