With your group… Use the paper provided to brainstorm as many careers as possible that you feel fit into the category of Human Services, Child Development & Family Studies Be prepared to share your ideas with the class

Did you miss anything? Look at the four class text books to add to your existing list: – Married and Single Life (Chapter 27) – Relationships & Family Living (Chapter 36) – Working With Young Children (Chapter 28 & 29) – The Developing Child (Chapter 20)

Where Do You Fit? Pull out your ‘Am I A People Person’ worksheet Use the white space to add more to the list of your traits, skills and abilities Keep this list handy as we move into our project

When I Grow Up Review the outline for the When I Grow Up project. Once you understand what is expected, look at the list of jobs in the field of family studies. Your homework tonight is to look into some of these careers and compile a list of at least 5 you would be interested in learning more about and that you feel ‘fit’ your skill set We will sign up for the project in class tomorrow
