The Voice of The Tank Truck Industry 14 Wetlines Major Battle Won BUT the War Continues Recent Highway Bill includes halt on any wetlines regulation for two years Study to be conducted by General Services Administration NTTC Has Led Industry effort, including $30,000 Economic Study with help from API, PMAA and TTMA Political pressure will continue Many incidents at service stations

The Voice of The Tank Truck Industry 15 For drivers delivering materials to or hauling materials from oilfields: 1. Can use the 24-hour restart provision of the oilfield exception from HOS 2. May NOT use the “waiting time” provisions unless directly involved in oilfield with specialized equipment. Does NOT include hauling sand or water to shale sites. Must log as regular driving 3. ATA and others have asked FMCSA to reconsider. 4. Consumer Energy Alliance Truck Safety Initiative 5. Impact on driver supply? Shale Operations and HOS Exception
