St James Literary Festival Writing competition

This year’s writing competition is open to staff and students. You are invited to write a short story that begins with one of the following lines…

EITHER It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. OR When a day that you happen to know is Wednesday starts off by sounding like Sunday, there is something seriously wrong somewhere.

Prizes: 5 winners will be selected to receive a £5 voucher for the Book Fair. Closing date: Wednesday 6 th November Please hand in entries to the Library Good luck!
