CLEAN UP NEPAL OVERVIEW HISTORY, VISION AND WORKING AREAS VISION Clean up Nepal is a for-purpose, non governmental organization working to connect, educate and empower people on sustainable waste management and sanitation through a people centered, strength based approach to improve community health, well being and opportunity. Clean up Nepal envisions communities having access to a sustainable waste management system, sanitation facilities and the associated knowledge and resources that empowers them to live a healthy, disease-free life. WORKING AREAS Our key working areas include sustainable waste management, WASH, Research and Advocacy and Sustainable Livelihood. We run a number of programs under these working areas. HISTORY Initiated in 2013 by Dr. Neelam Pradhananga as a cleanup movement to bring about behavioral change. Clean up Nepal now has a team of 4 staff at its office in Tangal, Kathmandu.
