Work Record Recording regularly means less of a head ache If jobs are small and similar, group them If you cant remember exact details of jobs from years back, don’t worry! Minimum of 200 hours to act as a competency area CPD This will come naturally from keeping up to date with professional knowledge via attendance of meetings/training/lectures What have you learnt and how does it improve your professionalism? The most obvious topic is probably the best one Discuss with work colleagues Stick to ‘The Problem’, ‘My Role’, ‘Possible Solutions’, ‘Chosen Solution’, etc. Everyone makes errors so don’t be afraid to mention them and talk about how they were resolved Get multiple people from varying backgrounds to review it Make sure it’s visually pleasing Take Pictures The Critical Analysis
Find a ‘buddy’. Why not here now? Know the ins and outs of your critical analysis Think about any aspects you may have missed out from your critical analysis unknowingly (i.e. finance) Write mock questions for yourself and get your ‘buddy’ to write some too Arrange a number of mock interviews Dress smart and get to the interview with plenty of time It’s your job your describing so don’t panic, this is your day to day life!
